New Executives of National Online Forum Inaugurated in Abuja

Abuja, April 17, 2025 — The National Online Forum officially inaugurated its newly appointed national executives on Thursday during a ceremony held at the House of Representatives Media Center, National Assembly Complex (White House), Abuja.

The inauguration was presided over by the Chairman of the Governing Board, Mr. Undie Emmanuel Agba, who formally confirmed the appointments and administered the oath of office to the new leadership team.

The newly inaugurated national executives are as follows:

1. Umar Lawal Funtua – National President
2. Obalisa Christelle Laro – Vice National President
3. Mr. Ibunkun Afolayana – National Secretary
4. Rasaz Mutalib – National Treasurer
5. Mr. Victor Valentine Okechukwu – Provost
6. Mr. Tsebeter – Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.)
7. Abubakar Musa – Welfare Officer

In his remarks, Mr. Agba congratulated the new officials and charged them to lead with integrity, professionalism, and a spirit of collaboration to further the goals of the Forum.

Delivering his inaugural address, the newly sworn-in National President, Umar Lawal Funtua, who also serves as the Assistant Managing Director of Reality News TV Katsina, expressed profound gratitude for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to uphold ethical journalism, foster inclusivity, and ensure that all members are actively engaged in advancing the Forum’s mission.
